Polytechnic, Sundernagar, Distt. Mandi He Worked as Technical Officer from September 2005 to December 2009 and looking after the charges of Technical Officer after December 2009.Responsible for overall progress of the Appropriate Technology Centre and execute the activities as per Annual Action Plan as finalized by Council.To organise programmes in event Govt. polytechnic department prior to start activity and to follow all safety procedures as per project safety and risk assessments. Organise Training programmes for Engineers/technical staff/Masons on Innovative Housing Technologies like earthquake resistant structures, solar passive housing technology, cost effective construction, ferro-cement technology. Organise Training programmes for Engineers/technical staff/Masons on Green building technologies, rain water harvesting and domestic waste water treatment systems. Organise seminars / workshops . Organise exhibition on Appropriate Technology during Children Science Congress/ Red cross fair / Tech fest etc. Demonstration of roof top rainwater harvesting. Construction work Up keep of ATC building. Estimation of materials.
