BRIEF PROFILE

Qualification :   B.E. Civil

He joined the Himachal Pradesh Council for Science Technology & Environment in June 1998 under the ISRO funded Glaciology project (IGBP) and has an experience of more than 18 years in various fields of Science, Technology & Environment. He has also worked in Remote Sensing Cell and handled consultancies of HP State Electricity Board, HIMURJA etc. He has helped HIMURJA for identification of Micro-Hydel Project sites using Survey of India Maps and satellite data. He was actively involved for monitoring of the CLAP (Community led assessment, awareness, advocacy and action programme) for environment protection and sustainable development of Department of Environment, Science & Technology. He has put great efforts for transferring land for ‘Center for Science, Learning & Creativity’ at Bhog Anandpur Shoghi in the name of Department of Environment Science & Technology. He has been nominated as Nodal Officer for obtaining any information pertaining to the State Council for Information & Public Relation Department (GoHP). He has attended various National level workshops and seminars in the field of Water Resources and Environment. Presently, he is handling the work pertaining to Research & Development Projects, NITI Aayog and the Media Coverage of State Council Programmes.
